HAVE SELF CONFIDENCE WHEN YOU WALK ON THE COURT FOR A MATCH!

It's important to remember your strengths and abilities right before beginning to play. I take a moment to visualize a good serve, forehand, backhand, overhead, approach shot and volley. When I warm up - I use good footwork, turn my shoulders and take my racket back super early. I tell myself that I'm hitting well and that my body feels great.

This serves two purposes;

1. I don't rely on my partner to bring me up.
2. It removes fears.

It's amazing how strong and persuasive our minds are. A few weeks ago I got on the court feeling upset at my captain instead of excited to play - and I played terribly!

Next time you play - create a sacred space for self love and respect! It works!!!
