Lessons from "The Net"
As I played tennis and improved - I increased my self-awareness and also self-love. I actually acknowledged myself for my effort and knew how much courage that it took for me to get back on the court day after day. As with any worthwhile achievements - they come with great risk and pain. My tennis jewel is a luxurious gift to myself - and a reminder of my gratitude for this sport that has introduced me to many amazing people over the years.
