It feels so very good to be 100% on the court - not just for me - but for my partner too.
If my mind is wondering - I use some techniques to bring myself back to the court. I hit my shoes with my racket to send blood down to my feet. I move my toes to feel my feet. I smell the perfume on my inner wrist. Anything to being be back.
If my mind is complaining - about the weather, my opponents or my partner - then I redirect to things that I’m grateful for.
If I feel pain somewhere in my body - I choose to think about areas of my body that look great.
It’s always possible to be present and ready!
