After learning the basics of tennis in 2009 - I then had to work on the “inner game”. My mind was OUT OF CONTROL! It would bounce around - telling me crazy things.
Mastering my thoughts was KEY to improving my performance in matches.
My first action was to OBSERVE MY THOUGHTS. Just listen to what was being said.
Then - I thanked them - and released them. I wasn’t fighting with them - just let go of the thoughts that weren’t serving me.
